As usual all stories of myth , Scorpius also has many different stories. If we find a common denominator between them, that's Orin a son of Poseidon the god of the sea. he had a strong body and stood alone in strength. His haughty demeanor allways brought unexpected accidents.

I picked the story to tell about Hera's penalty for him. Hera... she was very beautiful goddess who was very proud and had a strong argument like Femme Fatal. She contained behaviour not only as a goddess but also a woman of present-modern age. She was only a powerful goddess who could contain Orin.

Haughty Orin stuck on himself, had been giving a lot of trouble claiming that nobody could kill him. Finally Hera sent him a scorpion to kill Orin beacause she was out of temper at his wild behaviour. So people born in Scorpius are calm and has a careful judgment on the contrary to Orion.

Pleasures of the Gods�.
An abigail who was assisting Zeus�s party injured her feet and could no longer assist the party. She introduced other abigails, however, she did not meet the high expectations of Zeus.

One day, Apollo told Zeus about the beautiful lad from Troy. This prince was Ganiymede who was the envy of all the ladies of Troy. Zeus was so anxious to see him so he metamorphosed into an eagle to see him and mesmerized by the beauty of Ganiymede. Zeus determined to make Ganiymede his chamberlain and kidnapped him with his eagle claw.

From then, Ganiymede started to assist Zeus�s parties in place of abigails. Poor Ganiymede. Too handsome to be chosen by the God but cannot be any more unlucky.

Zeus felt sorry for him while he was pouring the wine and decided to make a constellation for him. This is known as the Acquaris. This story demonstrates bi-sexuality of the Zeus. Ganiymede is pouring white wine in the waterway of the fish figure. This is where it is connected to the Pisces.

On end of the winter, Grace-Queen of snowdrop tries to sow gold color seeds.
Leave its to spring goddess inspires life to these seeds and creates new sprouts and
she will fall in deep sleep until the winter comes again.

The Grace have several meanings likes graceful, elegant, nobility, and graceful.
Since early times I'd like to make image that have feelings of faerie and gorgeous like the ad of Christian Dior, right now it calm down than an original plan. The Face get inspiration from Milla Jovovich.

This image of the Twins constellation describes the friendly kinship between two brothers.
This image was based on the setting when they were playing hide-and-seek with friends as kids.
They traversed over the deep woods and hid themselves among the shrubs that no one could find. As their mates turned away after failing to find them, they started singing and playing harp.
As the dusk sets in the late afternoon, their bodies start to emit shining lights and large stars appear over their heads. Angel�s wings then come out of Pollux�s back as he possesses an immortal body. This symbolizes and sheds hint on the storm accidents at the ship was to be named Argo and their destiny.
Lemon inside the basket held by the brothers are the fruits of Gemini, Iris in full blossom in front of them are the flowers of the Gemini.

As I working on this project, I have for the first time implemented a �sub surface scatter� shader (aka SSS), which is a semitransparent skin material.

Taurus

Finally,I finished Europa series.
The picture is a scene when the bull arrives at the new land with Europa on its back. This part is the most exciting of the story. As the myth is the only love story (why a bull?) of all myths for constellations, there should be something romantic. So, I gave a shiny body, majestic horns and elastic muscles to the bull. (I described the details of muscles with V-ray Displacement. I had time to learn the names of beet parts.)
The girl who totally trusted herself to the bull looked fascinated and full of expectations rather than scared. Is this love? Well, I don�t know yet. I have never fallen in love with an animal. What a great man Zeus is!

This picture was made with 3DS MAX and V-ray. Hair and eyebrows were made with HairFX, for which I experienced lack of memory often when I rendered in a big image. So, to solve the lack of memory, I rendered part by part and then put them together just like putting puzzles together. If by chance you know how to handle the problem, please let me know. (Pleas do not say that I need to reduce the number of hair.T_T)

The woman is Europa, a main actress of the myth for Taurus. I thought she should have an audacious, modern and warm glitter in her eyes, as she was a princess. So, I referenced the image of Scalett Johansson, but it didn�t resemble her after many additions of images that I desired (looking younger, bold etc.)
The gem of Taurus in May is emerald and the flower of the month is romantic rose. As I think she likes the nature, I put a flower coronet on her head. There is the bull-shaped brooch on her chest.

Virgo

It was selected for my first work describing myths with 3DS MAX that the �Virgo�. 3DSMAX was used in making character and background then it was rendered by V-ray.
This is my first greeting of image in this site, so I�m very exciting and strung up. And I wish to meet you through this site continuously.

There was some difficulties in accepting both character and background in one time, so they were rendered separately and combined in Photoshop.

I remember being happy while drawing this drawing since I could focus solely on the drawing itself, breaking away free from the 3D technology. 3D has close correlation with technology. This sometimes boggles the mind of painters. Don�t they want to become free sometimes, breaking away completely... Like the first Suphia, this drawing was realized based on the above-mentioned thought.

I always wanted to draw drawing that is like the drawing of fantastic fairies that is characterized by high level of completeness and that is like the drawing painted by Brian Froud using light color pencils. Prior to materializing this completely on 3D, I was feeling pressed to taste the completeness as drawing.

After determining to test nude and rendering, I tried to approach to nude with other method previously I postponed to use. I thought the change of renderer was critical, and V-ray helped to express the feeling of skin which could not be done by basic renderer. Inter-reflection in border of skins, precise shadow position, calmly expressed volume, and abundant mid-tone colors make effective nude.I also reflected myself why I had used more previous. Everything is in its position and waits to be chosen by myself. I cannot see them until I need them.

Redyan, 2002

Design on the female heroine character of 'Redyan' is produced based on the meeting with Actoz to suit the concept. The image was set rather unclear and complex ? pure-looking, yet strong s and sexy. However, at least this drawing expressed this feeling well. Thus, this could become the representative image of Redyan. armor design focused only on the fact that it is elegant, and it was produced freely. Thus, impeccable set-up on the armor and consideration for the sense of fit were excluded.^^; Although classic, it would be close to Boris� style or the clothing concept of Star Wars. (perhaps Redyan wanted this as well...) This drawing is one that was re-drawn after producing rod behind the version where Redyan is holding onto a sword. The look of Redyan, the magician, who is holding a rod was included on the album or on the cover of OST.

Personally, this drawing is my favorite among Redyan drawings. I cannot help it liking this the most since the overall mood of this drawing was aligned with my own preference..;; cold color where bluish color lingers on and colorfulness were emphasized.

Elene is the character for PR that was produced with the order placed by the ELSA-KOREA. ELSA asked for a more upgraded look while asking for the maintenance of the image of a female warrior, which it pursued from the past. The process of developing Elene faced greater challenge outside of the hours spent to give birth to Elene.

It feels premature and I am embarrassed since it is the character that was born after getting exposed to Maya with trembling mind two months ago, and while experiencing expectation, disappointment and surprise for the Nurbs at the same time .
